Payment Return / Refund Policy


At Indian Crowd Fund, we value trust and transparency. Our refund policy is designed to protect both contributors and campaigners, while also acknowledging the diverse nature of campaigns hosted on our platform. This policy outlines our approach to refunds across various campaign types.


1. General Guidelines
All payments made on Indian Crowd Fund are voluntary contributions and are typically non-refundable.
Contributors are urged to review campaign details carefully before making a payment.
Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances as outlined below.


2. Refund Policy by Campaign Type


A. Charity Campaigns
Charity campaigns are typically for medical aid, disaster relief, or nonprofit activities.
Refunds will only be considered if:
The campaign is conclusively proven to be fraudulent or misrepresented.
A technical/payment processing error occurred.
The donor reports unauthorized use of their payment method within 7 days.
Note: Donations to verified NGOs or medical causes, once disbursed, cannot be refunded.


B. Business Campaigns
These campaigns are for startups, product development, or business expansion.
Refunds may be considered if:
A contributor reports a duplicate or unauthorized transaction within 7 days.
The campaign is canceled by the creator before any disbursement of funds.
No refunds will be issued based on campaign performance (e.g., failure to deliver rewards or generate ROI).


C. Personal Campaigns
Includes campaigns for education, travel, weddings, or emergencies.
Refunds will be considered if:
There is clear evidence of misuse or fraudulent activity.
Payment was made in error or duplicated.
Request is made within 7 days of the transaction.


3. Refund Process

Reason for refund
Any supporting evidence
Our team will respond within 3–5 business days and process approved refunds within 7–10 business days.


4. Limitations
Indian Crowd Fund acts as an intermediary and is not liable for the actions of campaign creators.
We reserve the right to decline refund requests that do not meet our criteria or fall outside the time limit.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
